I found the BEST DENTIST EVER!
For years I have wanted to see a dentist due to my teeth shifting, years of neglect, and out of embarrassment, financial hardships, and being scared of the outcome.
Needless to say I put it off for way longer than I should have.
However, recently I was forced to seek dental care and after searching the internet and several calls to other dentist I finally found Dr. Joon Kim. After speaking over the phone he made arrangements to have me come in and quickly accessed the damage on my first visit.
Dr. Kim is a very caring dentist who excels in reassuring his patients he will do the best he can. He explained every detail along the way and checked on me constantly throughout each procedure.
His chair side manner is truly remarkable! At times I felt like I was talking to a new friend and not just my dentist. I’d also like to mention the fact that he worked extensively with every request and made something that was unconventional work due to my concerns over not losing my teeth. He follows up with a phone call after every visit and encourages me to give my honest opinion. Finally I feel that it is most important to mention that he worked with me to form a financial plan given the fact that I was not able to pay the entire cost up front.
I feel that this was key to me being able to receive the care needed and finally move forward with something that I had wanted for a very long time. I will forever be grateful to Dr Kim and his staff.
Thank you Dr. Kim for all the hours and hard work you put into giving me the ability to smile again for the first time in a long time. I got to drive home after my last visit with happy tears.

I have had 25 dentists to the best of my memory over the years. I am on my third set of crowns and in some cases 4th so I’ve had a lot of time in the dental chair. I immediately recognized something about dr. Kim that puts him head and shoulders above all the other dentists I’ve ever encountered for treatment. He is detailed meticulous thorough and professional. He just does the job right. The crown fittings were precise immaculate and well done. I can’t thank doctor Kim enough for his superb work. My mother and I recently moved to Maryland, and we decided to go to Dr. Kim’s practice based on his high ratings online. After having visited a few times, we can both confidently say that these ratings are completely deserved: Dr. Kim is a very well-trained and confident dentist who will genuinely do his best to help you fix any problems you may be having with your teeth. He preemptively identified issues with my teeth (an old cracked filling) that might have become larger problems if we hadn’t quickly addressed them, and fixed them right then. To help us identify the problems and process, he walked us through each of the steps he was taking; I learned a lot more than I expected about my own teeth while in the chair. For my mother, he was able to very efficiently perform a root canal and crown, and the results have been holding up very well so far: for both of us, the outcomes have been phenomenal. All in all, he’s a very hospitable, welcoming person who does great work as a dentist and makes his clients’ health and comfort his top priority.
Dr. kim is a competent and compassionate dentist. He helped me with a dental emergency. He is probably the best dentist I have ever seen. This speaks volumes since I am 65. I Highly recommend him.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kim for over 7 years. He is the dentist who cares about his quality of work to ensure it lasts. He will take his time to do treatment properly and not rush just to wrap up an appointment. I also appreciate that he is very honest about what work needs to be done and how urgent each treatment is. I have run into some dentist that will oversell treatments. If Dr Kim recommends a treatment, he will explain why it is needed and will do his best to show it on x-ray or through a mirror. Highly recommend!
Dr Kim is very professional, caring and honest dentist, not only does he fix issues with your teeth, he’ll also consider how it will last over the long term (some dental places will actually try to only fix it partially so that you have to go back several times to get it fixed entirely and make more money off you), have been his patient since a few years back, highly recommended!!
I’m very pleased with this Dr. I’ve had multiple procedures done here. Dr Kim is gentle and very thorough. He explained my treatment and options well for me to make an educated decision. He comes across as the person who cares about their patient. My visits were painless and I will continue being a happy patient.

I’m truly impressed with the service this office provides. Front desk staff are always welcoming and were able to verify everything needed through insurance. As a busy mom, it’s hard for me to keep track of each task, but the appointments here have proven to be easy!
