Dr. Linek is very professional and a wonderful doctor. She helped my daughter and I am so grateful to her. She takes the time to listen to you and does everything she can to help. She is very caring and was very patient with my daughter and I. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would.
Dr. Linek is amazing. She went above and beyond to help our family understand this diagnosis. She spent extra time explaining things and really listening to me and my child. My wife and I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Linek; she has done wonders for my wife’s emotional well-being. We feel extremely lucky that we found her and both of us agree that Dr. Linek has to be one of the best psychiatrists in Tampa Bay. Her unique getting to know the patient extremely well approach to healing diverges from other psychiatrists I’ve seen who seem apt to just get you out of the exam room with a prescription. Dr. Linek is able to utilize a combination of her deep medical knowledge and incredible empathy to guide her diagnosis and the resulting work in a direction that actually worked well for my wife. Dr.Linek was phenomenal with my foster daughter who has several behaviors. She treated me and my FD like people and not just another number of clients she had to see. She was very detailed oriented and always went above and beyond. If I had issues she would call me back quickly. She never rushed me and gave me great support as well. I am very sad she won’t be taking care of my FD anymore. She is kind, empathetic and understanding.
I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Linek. She is wonderful. She helped tremendously with my kiddo. Not only did she help my kiddo, but she really strived to help (and did help) the entire family. She always spent the time needed to answer my questions, go through the pros and cons of any treatment, and really listened to my concerns and then addressed them. Trust her instincts! She is a fantastic doctor.
Dr. Linek-Rajapaksha is amazing! Not only has she taken great care of the health of my children, but is also compassionate and kind and really makes an effort to learn her patients. It is rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient!
Dr. Linek is very good with teenagers, especially with ADHD kids. She was highly recommended by a USF psychologist. We first saw her when she was with USF at Northside Behavioral Health Center.
During the 1st visit she spoke to us first, then to our daughter, before discussing the diagnosis, testing, and prescribing medicine. She listened intently and we felt like she actually cared enough to understand the root cause before coming up with a diagnosis. We are now in the prescription maintenance phase with follow up visits every 2 months. Our daughter has made nice progress in school since the initial visit.
She has been the most amazing doctor. Always takes great notes and checks on me.
