My periodontal maintenance cleaning was thorough and the annual plan economical. Office clean and efficient with special air filters like I have at home but in every room there. Dr Andersen is helping correct my bite that a previous dentist messed up. My whole family now goes to Artisan Dentistry and we are very satisfied.
This dental team is consistently professional, efficient and pleasant. Dr. Anderson is simply the best! I would highly recommend this dental practice.

I really wish I still lived in Madison to receive dental care from Dr. Anderson and her team! I debated on still driving to see her, but living 2 1/2 hours away now, it wasn’t so practical. I highly suggest Artisan Dental!!!!

Got me in and out in less than 45 minutes so I wasn’t late for work.
Beautiful office, looks and feels like a spa. They seem to have great equipment too, and every space was clean and comfortable with lots of light. The best part was my hygienist, Tashina, and the dentist. Tashina (which I hope I’m spelling correctly!) explained everything she was doing before she did it, which for someone curious like me was terrific. I imagine for anyone with anxiety about the dentist it would also go a long way to making them feel more comfortable. She was gentle and kind, no discomfort during cleaning at all. I liked that they show you your x-rays on the big screen and thoroughly explain everything. They also told me about options like invisiline and retainers but didn’t try to force me to buy anything. I’m so glad I got an appointment here because I’d imagine everyone would want to go to this dentist!

Best experience at a dentist ever! They provide a mixture of : star treatment, spa treatment and therapy. Who knew you could have emotionally intelligent dentists (and staff)?! This was my first visit at Artisan and it was wonderful. The staff was very friendly. They highlighted the programs they offer to patients to promote wellness and sustainability. I loved all the photos of beautiful landscapes and calming music. Best dental experience of my life!
This is a really awesome dental practice. I am so happy it is in my network. The location is super convenient and the office space is beautiful and very modern. I got the corner suite for the first time for my last appointment which was awesome but all of the suites have cool views of East Washington Avenue or Livingston Street. Beside that the soothing images on the TV screens are nice and the sunglasses they offer are always appreciated. I love that they use a water pick instead of the traditional metal scraper. I hate the way that sounds in my head. The hygienists and dentists are all super nice and friendly. They always send me home me a toothbrush and some toothpaste. I highly recommend this practice.

I was very happy with my visit today. I had Destinee at my hygienist and she was so nice and explained everything she was doing before she did it. They had good safety precautions in place and I felt very comfortable.
The whole team at this office is amazing, in and out in a timely manner but didn’t feel rushed. Lindsey did an amazing job explaining everything to me. Will definitely be recommending this place to my coworkers. The front desk girls rocked!

Went to see them based on positive reviews. Got a very detailed course of action with my dental pain. And had my tooth removed. No pain, very calming. Very peacefull office. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable.

*UPDATE* This place is wonderful. I’ve been here twice for different procedures, once with insurance and once without. All costs were spelled out clearly in both contexts. Welcoming and friendly staff. Efficient. Get patients involved by explaining what they are doing, and encourage questions.

I called this morning because I chipped a tooth over the weekend. They were able to get me in right away (literally 40 minutes after I called!)
Dental Assistant Jonlyn was quick with her assessment, and super personable. She brought Dr. Dayal in to shave down and polish the tooth, and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I couldn’t believe it. I even made it to work on time.

I love this place so much. Everyone is so kind, patient, mindful, and personable. Professionalism is 110%. The office is clean and beautiful. I never feel like they’re trying to push unnecessary and expensive dental work to make money off me. Plus, they recycle old dental products for clients! I used to hate going to the dentist, but this place has changed my mind. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
Finding a new dentist is always an uncomfortable time, but these folks made it completely pleasant, and easy. I’m happy I’ve found them! From the ease of scheduling, the painless (really!) cleaning, and the carefully explained details of my current dental situation, all was handled beautifully. The background music was soothing, the hygienist was friendly, warm and caring, and the dentist was knowledgeable and upbeat. Everything was explained, including the financial aspects, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they don’t cost more than my previous provider! The respect and care they show are just what I need.

Artisan Dental was recommended to me by a friend after I had a not-so-pleasant experience at another dentists office in Madison. In addition to having a lovely, calming office and fantastic staff, my gums didn’t hurt when I left (they are ALWAYS sore for days after the dentist), and the hygienist and the dentist were very responsive to my sensitivities and needs. I also needed a replacement mouth guard, and they were very helpful in explaining reimbursements and payment options to go forward with this.

The atmosphere was spa like and the staff was so friendly, so knowledgeable, so communicative during my cleaning and made excellent and informed suggestions to improve my oral health and overall well-being. Destiny was my hygienist and she could not have been more lovely or talented. As a first time patient here I didn’t know what to expect but I’m glad to know I will enjoy every future visit.
I’ve never felt compelled to review a dentist practice, but this place is great. My former dentist kept telling me that sharp pain in a particular tooth was due to tooth sensitivity. My partner encouraged me to go for a second opinion at Artisan, and I learned that I needed a root canal. (They did various diagnostic tests that my former dentist did not do.) The procedure was pretty painless. I’ve been several times since then and am really satisfied with the quality of care. Everyone there is very professional. They are also friendly but not to the point of being intrusive.
Best dental experience I’ve ever had! The entire team was so friendly and inviting. I’m not one who usually enjoys the dentist, often because I feel like I’m always lectured about something I’m doing wrong. Artisan Dental was the complete opposite! Everyone makes sure you feel comfortable and understand what they’re doing each step of the way. On top of that, they were so encouraging and empathetic. 10/10 recommend!!
I have never been a big fan of going to the dentist but Artisan makes it a much more enjoyable experience. I have been seeing Dr. Meirick for a while now and she is top notch! Very thorough and just an overall good dentist. The entire office is nice and attentive.

The best thing I can say is come here. They know what their doing and they do an excellent job of helping you understand. They are so knowable and frendly I can not image going anywhere else. I came in with no insurance and a mouth full of pain thought I’d pay an arm and leg but it was a fraction of what I thought. I almost offered to pay more I was so happy with the out come of my first visit.
This place is so amazing. I had my first appointment today and it was unlike any other dentist I’ve been to. The office is beautiful and the staff are so competent and attentive with excellent interpersonal skills. Their prices are exceptionally reasonable without insurance. I don’t know why you would ever go anywhere else.
Dr. Anderson and her staff are truly exceptional — warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Making appointments is easy and the whole practice is paperless, which makes everything run so much more smoothly. They are also great about working with your insurance company to ensure that you know how much something will cost BEFORE you proceed. I can’t recommend Artisan Dental highly enough.
I had such a great experience for my first visit. They were extremely thorough and kind — everyone from the front desk to the dental hygienist to the dentist. Everything was explained clearly to me, I was made to feel comfortable, they provided education about what they were looking for/at. My hygienist was so gentle and the cleaning was so NOT painful at all, and she was constantly checking in with me to make sure everything felt okay. In the past I’ve always felt like my visits to the dentist were full of random scraping without warning and not knowing how things would feel, how long they would last, or what exactly was being done. In contrast this was a surprisingly calm, relaxing experience and genuinely changed how I feel about going to the dentist. The clean, professional, calming look and feel of everything was more like the atmosphere of a spa…seriously. The awesome reviews are totally spot on.
I discovered Artisan Dental about three years ago. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. I feel more educated, heard, and understood every time I visit. On top of all of this greatness, the facility is the most technologically advanced dentist office I have ever visited. Everything is high tech, streamlined, and so clean! I love my dentist!

I’ve never had “dentist aversion” – but this was by far my best dental care experience. Look forward to future visits and continuing a long-term relationship for my dental/oral care!
Amazing! This clinic is living up to the Isthmus standard of being a community service. Not only do they have a beautiful and relaxing office space (I felt like I was on holiday!!) but they also care about your well-being and are working to serve the local community. They collect used toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, etc and are aiming to recycle them into a park bench. They donated money on my behalf to a local non-profit of my choice just because I was a new patient. They also offer quarterly local wellness classes for their patients here on the Isthmus!! Everything was high-tech, clean, and welcoming- not like your usual doctor or dentist visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My hygienist explained everything before she started and kept checking back to make sure I was comfortable. It felt more like I was at a salon than the dentist office. To top it all off- my dentist visit was the most painless experience I’ve ever had and my teeth still have that smooth freshly cleaned feel! Thank you Artisan for turning something so dreadful into a lovely experience! I can’t wait until my next visit!
It’s located in my neighborhood, so for me this place is very convenient. There’s street parking and also free 2-hour parking in the garage.
I’ve not been to a spa but this place reminds me of one with its fruit water, comforting color scheme throughout the waiting area, and tv screens that display tropical settings. I guess it helps to reduce your anxiety if your anxious about going to the dentist.
The staff is nice and always checking on your comfort level. Despite being in the chair for over half an hour it doesn’t really feel too long. They are more than happy to discuss your insurance plan to ensure that you’re getting the most out of your dental plan and benefits.
In terms of having a pleasant time at the dentist, Artisan is up there with the best.
The office itself is conveniently located downtown and has free parking in a nearby ramp. It’s in a newer building with many large windows, so lots of natural light and downtown views. They have soothing ambiance music playing throughout and the aesthetic is not sterile like many dentist offices.
The staff is professional and very friendly. The one thing I personally find helpful is receiving an estimate/what is covered by insurance before any work is done. It saves the frustration of receiving a large bill in the mail and having to work things out over the phone.
I’d recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to put Artisan at the top of their list.
I am terrified of the dentist – or at least I was before finding Artisan. I have severe dental anxiety that was compounded by not having insurance for some time and being ashamed that it had been awhile since I had seen a dentist. I finally talked myself into seeing Dr. Andersen based on other reviewers’ experiences.
The first key to making my experience comfortable was being able to schedule online and write out exactly what fears and issues I have. When I came in for my first visit everyone was on board with my terror including reception – the lovely woman who did my intake didn’t even bat an eye when I was near tears just walking up to the counter to check in.
I’ve had to come in for a couple of visits and have met several members of the staff and none of them are judgmental. Everyone was entirely accommodating and made sure that I was doing okay. I am pretty sensitive to pain and it takes more than one shot of numbing – unlike past experiences I wasn’t questioned or treated like I was being dramatic. They also weren’t bothered by me literally shaking in the chair as they were working. I get very tense and anxious and tremble through every appointment but for them it’s no big deal.
I don’t like admitting publicly that I am a nervous wreck when it comes to the dentist, but I want other people who are too nervous to go to know that they will be comfortable here (as comfortable as you can be at a dentist, anyway). A lot of the things that made visits unbearable for me in the past aren’t a problem here.
If you want a dental office that seems more like a spa, this is the place.

Artisan Dental has the most pleasing atmosphere and staff that I have ever encountered in a dental clinic. The waiting room is spacious and filled with light and beauty. The silent videos of nature streaming in the waiting room and from the dental chair create a calm and peaceful surround. The staff were kind, considerate, and caring. The appointment itself was gentle and both the hygienist and dentist were attentive to my questions, concerns, and needs. I was 100% impressed with every aspect of care and have already recommended your services to friends!
I agree with the other review that said this dentist is like a spa. You enter this beautiful room with mid-century modern furniture and the sound of soothing music played in the background. There are also iPads for you to use in the lounge.
Let me first say that I hate the dentist. I’ve always hated going to the dentist, but this dentist wasn’t so bad.
I had two deep cleanings done (root & scaling) since I was awful about going to the dentist and now I’m trying to be an adult and be responsible or something like that. Anyway, the cleanings weren’t bad! I survived! Rebecca played Parks and Rec for me while I was sitting in the chair, so that was pretty awesome.
It’s a great location too, so I’m definitely all for that.
Artisan is the best dental experience ever! I actually ENJOY going and everyone is so kind. They have taken amazing precautions with COVID, as well. I felt safe and calm the whole time. Rebecca, my new favorite hygenist, explained everything to me in such great detail. I never feel like I am being forced into procedures or that anything is hidden from me. I couldn’t recommend this dental office enough!

I used to have major anxiety associated with seeing the dentist. Not anymore. Artisan Dental is great. The dental hygienists – which can usually make or break your experience – are top notch. I definitely recommend them.

I was in town visiting Epic and had an unexpected dental emergency. This was quite distressing since I was so far from my normal dentist in Cincinnati. Thank goodness I found Artisan Dental! They got me in quickly and did a great job. Everyone from the office staff to the hygienist to the dentist was very calming and helpful!

Large windows with natural light welcome you in both the waiting room and in the treatment rooms. Everyone who works here is friendly and professional. I had my metal fillings replaced here and they did a great job. I also had two cavities filled and I was in and out in an hour! I have the same dental hygienist each time I visit for a cleaning and she is wonderful. And they accept Delta Dental!

This place is first class all around. Lindsay was an amazing dental hygienist. Courteous, knowledgeable. Dr Mierick was great too. Receptionist as well. Great hospitality, latest technology. I made a great choice!
These people are great! Dr. Anderson is amazing. They are professional and helpful. They are very helpful in wading through insurance coverage. They do a very thorough exam and go over options with you in detail. I hate going to the dentist, and they make it so it isn’t all that unpleasant!
I have been to dentists in three different cities (college, moving around, etc). This is by far my favorite. For one, the energy and ambiance (not usually something discussed when talking about going to the dentist!) is amazing. The waiting area is relaxing with ipads to use, bright colors, interesting books. The exam rooms have huge windows that face the street with tons of natural light. Everyone (from the front desk staff to the hygienist to the dentist herself) introduced themselves, were super friendly, and wanted to get to know me.
They were great at listening to any dental concerns I had and worked with my insurance company for me. The dental exam and cleaning were comfortable and great.
Also, they have a cool recycling program for toothbrushes and other items as well as wellness events every couple months!
Can’t recommend them highly enough!
I love Artisan Dental and have been going there for four years now. The folks in reception always make me feel welcomed, the hygienists are skilled and personable, and I trust and appreciate the professionalism and skills of the dentists. I’m particularly fond of the TVs they have that display beautiful nature scenes (rather than assaulting the senses as some businesses seem to think is desirable).
The one nit I have about this last visit: the bathroom. The location of the bathroom has changed a couple times over the years, and now there is one and only one–for everyone. I happened to line up for it when the occupant before me was taking so long, I feared he might be staking a homesteader’s claim. Once I finally gained access, it was in disarray and not the clean, Zen quality I was used to from Artisan. On the spectrum of burning world issues, not a biggie–but nevertheless, not a pleasant start to an appointment.

My experience with Artisan has been WONDERFUL. As a semi-responsible, soon-to-be 26 year old, I realized last minute that I was about to lose my dental insurance. I contacted Rochelle at the front desk to see if they could squeeze me in with just a few days notice before my insurance was about to expire (a wishful act in the medical/dental world). Not only did they fit me in for a cleaning with Kayla and Dr. Andersen yesterday, they were able to fit me in today for fillings (my very last day with dental insurance). I have never seen a more caring, understanding, and flexible team in all my medical/dental experiences (and I have had a LOT). Not only did they provide me excellent dental care, they also saved me a ton of money by adjusting their schedule so I could still receive dental services while insured.
All in all, it’s very rare to find such a passionate team and I am so so so incredibly grateful for their understanding and flexibility. Also, their office is very modern, very clean, and has an overall positive feeling when you first walk in. 10/10 would recommend!
I had a great experience, from the time I called in December to schedule an appointment, through my initial visit in January. The first thing they did was call my insurance provider before scheduling my appointment to be sure my visit would be covered. Secondly, all their required forms are available online, so you aren’t stuck completing a pile of paperwork during your first visit. I love that everything is electronic, and it’s in keeping with their philosophy of utilizing reclaimed or recycled materials wherever possible.
Kayla T was my hygienist. She was professional and careful. She explained everything she was doing before she did it. She also did things like only gently using the air hose on my teeth and gums, not the painful blast I’ve experienced at other clinics.
Full disclosure: I’ve never had a cavity and am an easy dental patient. However, based on my experience with Kayla, I would definitely recommend Artisan Dental for someone who experiences anxiety when visiting the dentist. Dr. Andersen was pleasant, but since I didn’t have any issues, we didn’t speak for long.
The office space is beautiful and comfortable. The lobby even has an iPad bar so you can surf the Internet while you wait. This should not be an indication that there will be a wait, though, as I was promptly taken to a chair to begin my service.
Fun fact: If you save old toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes, you can bring them into the office for recycling. Madison does not recycle these items, but Artisan has a vendor they use for that.
My dental coverage was expiring in 24 hours and they were able to squeeze me in for a new patient visit just as ppl were re-opening in May (so a lot of appointments were already filled). The receptionist on the phone was incredibly helpful and empathetic to my situation which I am very grateful for. My hygienist was thoughtful and warm, as was the dentist. The office and exam rooms are clean and up-to-date. They also recycle empty toothpaste tubes/floss containers and toothbrushes! Highly recommend.
I tried Artisan Dental based on a friends experience. I have SEVERE dental anxiety. I have been to multiple places in Madison and could never find a place I felt comfortable or not taken advantage of, because of which I delayed going to the dentist for years. I have to say I LOVE Artisan Dental. They are so nice, and so patient. Their recommendations make sense and they work with you to create a plan for treatment that works for YOU. It’s the first time I have had a cleaning that didn’t hurt or xrays that didn’t make me want to gag. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. My daughter had her first cleaning there too and she had so much fun. For a 6 year old that is saying a lot.
I loved my first visit to the dentist at Artisan Dental! First, the staff was very helpful over the phone to assist with scheduling and extremely courteous when I arrived to my appointment. I completed the forms online and they sent me several reminders of my appointment and also instructions on parking. I didn’t have to wait long until I was seen and Destiny was the most gentle, understanding and patient hygienist I’ve ever met. I have always hesitated to go to the dentist, but with the experience I had today at Artisan Dental I feel more comfortable and actually, a little bit looking forward to the next visit. I was kept informed throughout the appointment about procedures! I highly recommend this place! Excelled in customer service, staff was nice and knowledgeable! it was a great experience!
Had a great experience here! The office is modern, looks pleasant, and the staff is great. They explained everything they did before they did it and in general seemed to care about me. They do also have a fancy “panorama” teeth xray machine that I hadn’t seen before.
I was so nervous to see a new dentist after not going for soooo long. The staff were so courteous and explained all of my health records and options. They did a great job catering to my nerves and making me feel comfortable. I left feeling very hopeful, healthy, and without any unanswered questions. They did a great job with COVID precautions and the environment is spotless!

Really pleasant staff and a great downtown location. Parking is available on the ground floor or on the side streets. All the staff I encountered were really kind and talked me through everything so I could understand. The space is very warm and friendly and has some great views.
Artisan Dental is AMAZING! I never imagined a dentist could be as modern, welcoming, and overall outstanding as this place. Every single employee seemed genuinely happy and always wanted what was best for the customer. This place has calming screens in each room as well as tablets for children. The hygienists and dentists were all extremely helpful and kind. I will definitely be staying here as a customer for as long as I live in Madison!
I just joined as a new customer upon the recommendation of a friend. I was extremely satisfied with my first visit to Artisan. They have excellent service, a friendly and professional staff, and state-of-the-art facilities. Plus, they are environmentally conscious, even going above and beyond by collecting items that can’t be recycled in your normal bin. The Dr.’s always take the time to explain every bit of information about my care, do fast and excellent work, and are just generally kind. All of the other staff who work there, from the front desk to the technicians, are super friendly and great at their jobs too. Highly recommend!

I have spent my entire life avoiding the dentist, and would only go in when absolutely necessary. I always left in worse condition than I arrived. The experiences were terrifying (and I was a kid who didn’t scare easily).
I have been to Artisan Dental twice in the last month and had EXCEPTIONAL service.
Staff is delightful. Office is new and very clean. Every single staff member there has been extremely pleasant to interact with. I ask a hundred stupid questions and never once have I heard a shred of annoyance.
Would recommend to anyone who asked.
I had a great first visit. Everyone from the moment I walked in the door was very welcoming and friendly. They all made a point to say they were happy I was there. The music was relaxing and there are videos of relaxing nature scenes playing in the waiting area, as well as the exam room. I’m glad I picked Artisan Dental to be my new dental office.
I just had my first appointment here and it was fantastic. I never thought that going to the dentist would put me in a good mood for the rest of the day! Everyone I interacted with was really pleasant and professional and I’ll definitely be going back.

Lindsay always does a wonderful job cleaning my teeth! I have sensitive teeth and she continually makes sure I am comfortable during my cleaning. She answers any questions I have and gives me her honest opinion. Dr. Anderson always explains her findings to me, what they mean, and what the plan is to tackle any problems. Artisan has such wonderful staff. I enjoy my visits and when I leave I feel confident that my dental health is in good hands!

I followed Dr. Anderson from her old practice because of her care and interest in her patients. Her staff are wonderful. They are thorough, helpful and welcoming. Dr. Anderson takes time with every patient to connect and you never feel rushed or like just another patient. Even my grown children who have moved out of state continue care with her!

They are the warmest and friendliest group of people. From reception to the dental hygienists to Dr. Anderson, everyone provides excellent service. Dr. Anderson is also an extremely competent dentist who executes on her saying of “compassionate care.”

This whole experience is an A+. The facility upon walking in is extremely nice. The office staff are warm and welcoming. The exam itself is very thorough. It was clear they had reviewed my information prior to my arrival, and although it was my second visit, it felt like they knew me. They explained my x-rays more thoroughly than anyone ever has, and made me feel at ease through the whole process. I haven’t yet had any negative experience at Artisan Dental. Thank you for a great dental experience. I actually look forward to coming back.

Every single person who works here is so helpful and kind. The office is beautiful and they do a great job of making you feel comfortable. I had to have some obnoxiously in depth exams done for the Peace Corps and they were so patient and encouraging throughout all of it. They are super affordable as well, even without dental insurance. I also LOVE their efforts to make their practice more sustainable – they will help you recycle just about any odd dental item! 10/10 would recommend.
They are taking appropriate COVID precautions. They screen all patients with a comprehensive questionnaire, they have barriers between patients and reception, their staff wear the appropriate masks, they use aerosol reduction techniques for cleanings, and they’re giving out hand sanitizer. Overall, felt safe and low-risk. Always appreciate the friendliness of the staff, as well!

This is a great dentist office as a whole. In my experience I have always been treated with compassion and kindness. My teeth are not the best and I never feel judged, just support and encouragement.

Going to the dentist has never been my favorite, but I enjoyed my first visit at Artisan. Their office is spotless and their staff is very friendly. Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The office is beautiful and relaxing – almost like you’re going to the spa. All staff were so friendly – from the front desk, to the super friendly and awesome hygienist, to the dentist herself! They took so much time in making sure all my questions were answered. It was so pleasant. They were knowledgeable about my dental concerns and took careful time listening to me!
Also while you’re getting your teeth cleaned the exam rooms have beautiful big windows looking out to the street. Great energy and lots of natural light. I have found my spot!
I have been to Artisan for two cleanings and one cavity filling now. I was very anxious about my first cleaning because it had been an embarrassingly long time since I had been to the dentist. They never judged but were kind and compassionate and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Their Covid-19 precautions are the best I’ve seen, with increased air cycle times, UV sterilization, and Merv-11 filtration. I felt super safe going for my cleaning today.
I had a very enjoyable experience with Artisan Dental today. I showed up on time for my appointment and they didn’t keep me waiting. The facility is very clean, the staff very professional and friendly. They answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable.

The best dental experience I’ve ever had. Their facility is impeccably clean and they offer so many extras. They’ve partnered with Terracycle so you can recycle your toothbrush, deodorant etc, and have a wellness program that their patients are welcome to participate in, for starters.
I’m not a big fan of having plaque scraped off of my teeth (as I’m sure not many people are) and I was offered a mild anesthetic on my gums through the duration of my appointment to ease the discomfort of the scraping, something that I’ve never been offered at any other dental clinic. I highly recommend their clinic!
Just had a really excellent cleaning at Artisan Dental. I usually have a little sensitivity with my cleanings but this was totally painless. It went by really quickly and my teeth are feeling squeaky clean. Everyone was super friendly, and thoughtful with advice on my teeth/mouth health and payment recommendations. I really appreciate the efforts they make towards sustainability as well!
Was very anxious about having plaque removed after not having a cleaning for over two years. Kind, compassionate and have great results. A plan was put into place to get my teeth and gums back to 100%.
This was the most spa-like dentist experience I’ve ever had. Everybody was sooooo nice and the space looked more like a hotel lobby than a dental hygenist’s torture den. Sure, I got goosebumps from the sound of metal scraping against my tooth enamel, but that’s my own fault for drinking coffee. They didn’t give me any stickers or plastic rings, which would have been a star off if it weren’t so affordable–and price matters to an uninsured gal like me!

I’ve been going here for a few years now, and have yet to have a bad experience. Everything who works here is so friendly, from the minute you step through the door. They also always are sure to schedule extra time for me when I’m getting work that needs anesthetic (my body is a bit more resistant to the anesthetic than most), and I’ve never once gotten the impression that they care more about my money than my health (unlike most dentists I’ve been to).
I had a wonderful experience with my recent visit. Not only that they are very perfessonial, they really listened to what I wanted done.
They know how to interact with their patients.
I personally don’t like going to the dentist and I would never say this about the dentist ever but if is this dentist place, I would and want to go back.

My first visit to Artisan Dental was wonderful! Everyone is so friendly, and the space is beautiful, which made the whole experience more relaxing than any dental appointment I’ve had before. My hygienist did a thorough cleaning, explaining each step before she started. She and Dr. Andersen both invited my questions, making sure any concerns I had were addressed in my visit, and I left with good steps to take between now and my next appointment.
I also really appreciated being able to fill out my paperwork online in advance, which made everything more efficient and let me write out my goals for the visit. Overall it was a great experience, and I’m actually looking forward to coming back in 6 months!

Honestly, I have strong dental anxiety. Artisan is amazing. I’ve seen three different dentists (because of scheduling) all three have been incredible. I’ve never felt so calm and so confident in a dentist. With all three, I’ve calmed down within the first five minutes of my appointment (including my root canal), and it was painless and easy. I can not recommend artisan highly enough- they are absolutely the best dentist I have ever been to.

Staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Will explain step by step of their process so you know exactly what you’re having done if you ask them to. I had some crown work done, and they spent a good 15 (detailed, not rambling) minutes walking me through it all, and patiently answered every question I had before we even got started. Despite being close to the higher-priced Capitol Square/State Street area, they’re priced very reasonably. Cannot recommend them enough.

My exams and cleanings have been very thorough. And at 58 yrs old, I’ve been to the dentist many many times. Having said that, my hygienist rates a “10” ! Great job.

I’ve been to plenty of dentists in my 52 years of being. This is by far the best group of people you could want working on your teeth. My teeth cleaning was perfect. A filling i had done on the surface of a tooth matches so well that i can’t even see it, flawless. Their office is clean, modern and very relaxing.
Definitely my favorite dentist in Madison. Everyone here is really friendly, and even the short wait that I had when I first got there was pleasant since the waiting room is really quite beautiful and has some interesting books of photography to look through. The rooms have huge windows and cool views out into Madison, so there isn’t the case of just staring at a wall while you wait like there is in many other dentist’s offices. I’d definitely recommend going here if you are looking for a dentist in Madison.

It was my first trip to Artisan Dental this morning and they are great. Jill at the front desk was very helpful, Tia was super sweet, and Dr. Anderson knows her stuff. I like to consider any time I leave the dentist without a scolding to be a success, but Artisan went above and beyond!

Dr. Nicole Andersen is hands down, THE BEST DENTIST! I have worked as a Dental Hygienist at many dental offices in Madison and she is still the only dentist I will let do restorative treatment on me. I could get any restorative work done for free at the offices I work at, but I rather pay out of pocket for her to do them because I know they will be flawless every time. When I went through dental hygiene school, all of my instructors (that have been working in the dental field for over 20 years) would be in awe of the restorative work she has done on my teeth (including my front tooth which is half filling material and even dental professionals do not realize it is not my actual tooth structure). It is rare to find a dentist that does such immaculate work. I am just so grateful that I have had her as a dentist since I was 13 years old and I will always continue to refer all my friends and family to see her!

This is the most calm, comfortable dentistry practice I’ve ever experienced. The music is peaceful rather than top-40’s frenetic; the staff is competent, efficient, and welcoming. After my initial checkup, an office staff person sat down with me in a private office to discuss estimates for proposed work. Very professional. I’m glad I found this place!
Comfortable environment. Friendly and professional staff. Thorough. Dental plan is a lifesaver. I was going to cancel my checkup until my CareCredit bill from my fillings was paid off. So pleased that there would be no bill for my checkup and I kept the appointment. My only problem is with signage in the building. When you leave the elevator, there’s nothing to lead you to the office unless you turn to look at the door. Put a sign on that big, bare wall across from the elevator with the business name and an arrow. Same in parking garage. The only signage is directly on the building door which you can’t see when you’re driving. Put a sign above the door perpendicular to the entrance to lead people there. No one should have to hunt and look for doors to find where they’re going.
Everyone at Artisan Dental is amazing! Dr. Anderson is the most talented dentist I’ve ever seen, and is such a nice, genuine person. All the hygienists are so sweet and you can tell they all work as a team, are well educated and trained. I don’t even mind going to the dentist anymore, and even look forward to it! Beautiful office, super friendly staff all over the office starting from the folks at the front end who go the extra mile in all that they do till the doctors who do the actual consultation and cleaning. When I called them initially, they didn’t have an appointment for the next 3 months. However, the added me to the cancellation list and promptly called me soon after a slot was open. I had questions about the coverage of my insurance and all I had to do was shoot an email to Jessica/Rochelle and they reached out to my insurance and gave me all the details that I needed. Kayla – Dental Hygienist – was very friendly and professional. I’d definitely recommend this place!
I had a great experience, from the time I called in December to schedule an appointment, through my initial visit in January. The first thing they did was call my insurance provider before scheduling my appointment to be sure my visit would be covered. Secondly, all their required forms are available online, so you aren’t stuck completing a pile of paperwork during your first visit. I love that everything is electronic, and it’s in keeping with their philosophy of utilizing reclaimed or recycled materials wherever possible.
Kayla T was my hygienist. She was professional and careful. She explained everything she was doing before she did it. She also did things like only gently using the air hose on my teeth and gums, not the painful blast I’ve experienced at other clinics.
Full disclosure: I’ve never had a cavity and am an easy dental patient. However, based on my experience with Kayla, I would definitely recommend Artisan Dental for someone who experiences anxiety when visiting the dentist. Dr. Andersen was pleasant, but since I didn’t have any issues, we didn’t speak for long.
The office space is beautiful and comfortable. The lobby even has an iPad bar so you can surf the Internet while you wait. This should not be an indication that there will be a wait, though, as I was promptly taken to a chair to begin my service.
Fun fact: If you save old toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes, you can bring them into the office for recycling. Madison does not recycle these items, but Artisan has a vendor they use for that.
ArtisanDental goes out of their way to provide excellent customer service and a great patient experience. I went in for a filling and from previous memories at other dentists, I remember the anesthesia process being very painful and me being very confused as to what was going on. This was not the case here at all. I barely felt anything and the procedure was perfectly explained so I didn’t feel confused or scared anymore. I am very happy and I am not worried about having fillings done anymore. Also, the atmosphere is calming and the front-desk staff are very welcoming and friendly every single time!
The Artisan Dental staff are so kind and friendly, it’s always a treat to go in and get my teeth cleaned. I love that they do the toothpaste tube and toothbrush recycling as well. As always, Artisan Dental is an excellent experience.

The whole team at Artisan Dental is great. They are friendly and really seem to enjoy working together. Thye are quick to help and offer suggestions to me and they are fantastic with my 6 year old son. It can be stressful to go to the dentist (for us all) but the staff at Artisan Dental take very good care of the whole family.

I just had my first appointment at Artisan Dental. I could have easily fallen asleep during my recent appointment. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and serene. Every person on the staff whom I encountered was kind, pleasant, and professional. I don’t believe I have ever had a more complete teeth cleaning (thanks Kayla). I am a graduate student, and thus, am not rolling in dough and I very much appreciated Dr. Anderson’s conservative approach to some of the procedures I need done. The only thumbs down I would give is regarding payment plans; they do not accept personal payment plans, only those by third party financing. That aside, I love this dentist and am looking forward to my next appointment.. who says that?

The dental experience at Artisan Dental is first rate! From the minute you walk in the door you are greeted by a staff that feels like friends. The waiting room is calm, peaceful, immaculate with fresh water with cucumber waiting. I typically dislike going to get my teeth cleaned, but all of the staff is so friendly at Artisan. And my hygienist Destiny, was super transparent about what she was doing and where in my mouth so I was always prepared and not met with any surprises. Not to mention the facility is gorgeous!
On a surface level, I love the ambiance of the office and the attitude of the staff. I appreciate the aggression in care planning and I appreciate the environment because many of us even as adults experience anxiety around dental visits

And since the pandemic began, they have invested in even more equipment to keep patients and staff safe and healthy and to keep their rooms and equipment as sterile and infection-free as possible – air purifiers, UV cleaning equipment – there’s a long list of the precautions they have taken. I feel very safe going there.
Artisan is the best dentist I have ever had. I had to get in by the end of the year and they made sure to get me in and fix a filling. The people are all very nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend this dentist to anyone in the Madison area.

The staff here is very friendly and there is very little waiting time during appointments. I had a chip in my tooth repaired recently by Dr. Meirick and it matches so well with my other teeth that even knowing about the repair I can’t tell it’s there! I definitely will come back if I ever need more cosmetic/restorative dentistry.

Could not believe how fancy and state of the art everything was, felt like I was in a movie! Where are my off green painted walls, with the cracked wood paneling and striped wallpaper like grandmas? The wrinkled old magazines in the waiting room? The kids corner with worn out old toys strewn about? All relics of a bygone era. This is a Dentist of the future! Do yourself a favor and experience it. Besides the whole place feeling like a spa, all the employees were extremely helpful, thorough and kind. Looking forward to my next visit. Can not recommend enough! Go for the teeth cleaning, stay for the experience.

I LOVE Artisan Dental. I was new to the area and did a Google search on best rated providers, and this one came up top notch. I haven’t been disappointed for any of my appointments. Everyone is very friendly and listens to your needs/concerns. The providers have a gentle and effective touch, and the screens over the chairs provide relaxing scenery to take your mind off of being at the dentist. The technology they use is very advanced compared to my last dentist. Payments are manageable depending on your insurance, and if you don’t have any they can work with that too. I’m sure other dental providers are great, but I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Artisan Dental is in a wonderful location on E Washington near the Capitol. The building is state of the art with all of the latest dental technology. The chairs are super comfortable made with premium leather. The staff is incredibly thoughtful and friendly. If you love excellence and professionalism Artisan dental screams it. Going to the dentist is always nerve wracking but their professional care and attention to detail brings a sense of ease and pride that you are truly receiving the best dental care possible.
I just had a cavity filled and the staff was kind and careful enough to tell me everything that was about to happen. They even took a close up picture of my cavity and showed me how and why the cavity developed.

I received the best cleaning of my life thanks to Megan. A year prior to this cleaning a dentist told me I had a discolored tooth from a root canal and nothing could be done. Megan found that the tooth was simply stained and she successfully removed the stain. I returned for fillings and Dr. Meirick found the filling next to the tooth she was working on needed the filling replaced. She took a picture so I could see the problem and offered to take care of it right away. She also offered to determine additional costs. Everyone I have met at Artisan Dental is friendly and kind. I had not been to a dentist in many years and was a little nervous of what to expect. Everyone I met at the office was incredibly welcoming and professional, from the front desk to the technicians to the doctor. I’m not personally afraid of dental visits, but I know folks that are, and this clinic makes a lot of effort to provide a calming environment. I really appreciated the technician, Emily, going over the exam findings with me and explaining the next steps in my plan. She was professional, knowledgeable, and approachable, couldn’t ask for anything different. Scheduling a new appointment and figuring out insurance coverage was also unbelievably easy. I am not an easy dental patient. I have said that I would sooner give birth than have a dental procedure done. I wanted to recognize Dr. Andersen’s office for two things. First, when the hygienist noticed that my gums were showing signs of possible infection, she recommended cleaning four times a year. With my aversion to the dentist, this wasn’t my favorite proposal, but it has been working. I would never have thought to ask for further dental care, so it is good to know that the professionals at Artisan Dental are looking out for their patients. Second, and most recently, I had to have a crown placed for a broken tooth. Dr. Andersen was very caring and reminded me to breath (thank you yoga!) when the procedure got too upsetting. Dr. Andersen gets my vote for compassionate care! She’s concerned, professional, and very knowledgeable! Thank you for putting my care first and managing my considerable anxiety!

This is an excellent dental office. The atmosphere and facilities are great, the views are interesting out of all the rooms, and the staff are always amazing. They also have a dental product recycling program which is great to have in the neighborhood.

I can only sing praise about Artisan Dental. It has been 4-5 years since I last went to the dentist, so I was not surprised when I had a few fillings needed. Dr. April Tressler did a phenomenal job working with my anxiery with my fillings. Last time I had a filling, the novocane didn’t work and I could feel the drill in my tooth. Dr. April Tressler knew exactly where to administer the shot, and she would check in every 30 seconds while she was drilling to make sure I was still doing ok. She did a great job with my fillings, and also filling in the chip on my front tooth. My hygienist, Jenni recommended I try the Burst electric toothbrush, and I’m so thankful she did. It’s a super effective toothbrush. I 10/10 recommend this dental office to anyone who has teeth. They work with everyone’s needs and anxieties.

Without a doubt, any other dental office I visit in the coming years of my life will be hot Chinatown garbage compared to Artisan Dental. I thought the lobby was very pretty when I walked in and the greeting from the staff was sweet and welcoming. Ice water and glasses at the front desk? Check. An iPad station while you wait? Sure, that’s definitely new. The monthly yoga and tea training perks for clients was unexpected and something I’ve never seen from any other dentist. The copious orchids and light music playing throughout the office made everything seem like a spa experience.
I’ll repeat what I said during my visit, but the only downside is that none of them have seen Parks and Rec – Artisan Dental is the elegant Eagleton version of all dumpster Pawnee dentists I’ve been to over the years.
My only regret is that I didn’t come here ages ago, because this was the most competent, thorough, friendly and absolute best experience I’ve had at a Dentist’s office.
Destiny cleaned my teeth, checked the health of my gums, offered advice to get past barriers to flossing, provided topical anesthesia to help her get a deeper clean, kept me informed and provided pleasant conversation, all while maintaining a perfect, professional demeanor. I had not been to the dentist in awhile and knew I needed to get back on schedule. I had been familiar with Dr Andersen before. I searched until I was able to locate her. The experience of the appt. was great. All the staff is very friendly and open to helping and answering questions. The view from the office is great. The cleanliness and modern equipment are fantastic. Everyone went out of their way to make sure you understood everything.

“Chipped a molar and was into your office within a day. My treatment options were explained well, I went with a crown. The shots weren’t bad, neither was the drilling. The photos were really neat. Kept waiting for you to take impressions, but instead, my crown appeared and we fitted it, got it all polished up and I was off…within 2 hours. Best part is that the crown provided is permanent (not a temp!)! Cant wait to see you all in June for my cleaning! Havel already told several people at the office and some are heading your way. Dr. Andersen and the professionals at Artisan Dental are a joy to be around. They consult with the patients best interest as the priority. The equipment and technology are very up to date. I’ve had two crowns replaced, both done in one sitting each. Perfect fit each time. I stay on the Member Program which includes two cleanings per year plus other insurance type benefits. Artisan Dental is a dental office in the downtown Madison area. All of their equipment is state of the art, their service is exceptional, and all of the staff are very friendly. The hygienist and dentist are very thorough with the cleanings and fillings and are great at providing recommendations for improving your dental health. I have never had any issues, whatsoever; and for me that is awesome. I have had issues with other dental offices with both the hygienists and dentists. So, it is nice to not have to worry about potential issues anymore.

Then, Dr. Anderson came and answered whatever remaining questions I had. The procedure I had is somewhat uncomfortable, but essential. My very capable dental professional at Artisan Dental did a great job of making me as comfortable as possible for the hour-plus time it took to complete. With a large TV screen right above me, I was able to distract myself with Hulu and everything went smoothly (little tooth scaling pun there). Doctor Meirick is very professional and pleasant. “I avoided going for 5 years becuase I was busy or didn’t want to but never scheduled an apointment until I had a tooth ache. Turned out that may have been nothing but it got me to schedule my cleaning.. and subsequent filling that was seperate from my ache. Their staff made it easy to schedule, they worked within the times I was free and left me on a call list in case something within those times was available sooner. They had someone meet with me and explain the pricing and billing. For the rough part of getting the work done? I put my feet up and looked out the floor to ceiling windows in front of me, trying not to wince during the couple minutes of actual drilling. That wasn’t the most fun but, overall, I was still in and out in 60 minutes after getting a couple old dental work touched up as well. Are cavities fun? No. But if going to the dentist is a necessary eveil that doesn’t have to be so bad, I’ll gladly schedule my cleanings every 6 months to make sure I get to come in for more positive reasons.”

My only comment would be that when I booked the appointment at my last cleaning 6 months ago, I had requested Tia for my cleaning so I was surprised today when another tech came for me. I was told schedules had changed. The same happened with Dr. Anderson so I saw the new dentist on staff which was just unexpected as I’ve been a patient of Dr. Anderson’s for years and years and even followed her to her new practice. Everything that was done was explained and it was a great experience. Both of us had to go back. I needed to have fillings replaced. It was quick and painless. I usually dread getting the numbing shots, but I didn’t feel a thing! My daughter, who is 12, needed to have four teeth pulled due to overcrowding issues, before she could have braces put on. While it was a stressful experience for her, Dr Andersen and the hygienist were so patient with her. They took the time needed to get the teeth removed and to reassure my daughter that everything was okay and she was doing great. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”
Kayla, Dr. Merrick, and Rochelle were very thorough in the explanation of the crown process, options in case the work ends up being more extensive, and the cost after taking into account the insurance contribution. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Facilities and advanced equipment was also fantastic. Their renewable energy and recycling initiatives were nice, conscientious touches. So far, excellent.
I’ve been a customer now for about 2 years. I really like Dr. Andersen, she’s very attentive to the details. I’ve had regular checkups from Artisian, as well as Invisalign. Dr Andersen did a nice job of fitting the Invisalign and explaining the entire process.

Every time I go in to Artisan Dental, I feel so welcomed and very comfortable. I went in for a regular cleaning, but mentioned that a filling I received there was still bothering me some. Felt completely comfortable with getting some impressions done for a bite splint thanks to the amazing staff! Not only was my hygienist nice and welcoming, she knew a lot about previous dental/orthodontics procedures I have had done, such as a retainer and head gear. After getting fitted, she helped me understand why those devices were important to improving my dental health, as well as how this splint will further protect my teeth. She even showed me the damage to my enamel in a mirror, which I had never once seen nor thought about before. Overall, I had a wonderful time and enjoyed quite the learning experience!

I was nervous about getting some sealants replaced, but the environment there is so calming that I was able to relax. As it turned out, I didn’t need to be numbed to replace the fillings and the whole process was super quick and painless. Artisan is, hands down, the best dental office I have been to. The staff are warm and incredibly congenial. At my visit today, Kayla made sure to explain everything that she was going to be doing step by step and made a point to check in with me frequently to see how I was doing. I had put off finding a new dentist since moving to Madison, but picked Artisan Dental after comparing all the reviews of places in my insurance network. It had been 2 years since my last dentist appointment, so was a little scared about what work I might need. After my first visit, I’m very happy with this choice!
The hygienist, Megan, gave very friendly and thorough service, explaining my x-ray findings and possible preventive care. Dr. Meirick was very friendly and knowledgeable as well, confirming recommendations for future care and providing detailed information on things like bite guards and TMD relief. The office coordinator, Kristina, was very helpful with the scheduling process and explaining additional services they provide, like recycling toothbrushes and other items used for dental care that aren’t accepted in residential recycling bins! I never knew these items could be recycled and appreciate their environmental effort.
All around a great experience, and looking forward to going to the dentist more regularly.

I really enjoy the staff at Artisan Dental. I started see Dr. Andersen 3 years ago after not seeing a dentist for over 5 years. I was super scared and nervous and had to get back up to speed with my dental work. All the staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure was comfortable. Dr. Andersen is so nice and makes sure you are a participant in your dental heath. She doesn’t just tell you what she’s doing to your teeth but let’s you know what to look out for and things to keep in mind for future health and prevention. I can’t recommend them enough!

I was very impressed with my first visit to Artisan. They have beautiful offices and everyone was very professional and very friendly. I highly recommend it. I did not feel rushed and I felt that the cleaning and inspection were both very thorough. They really excel at individualized service.
Mackenzie was great. I’m usually nervous with dental cleanings because I’ve had bad experiences with other hygienists where my mouth was sore and bloody. Today’s visit was not like that. She was concerned and tried to alleviate or lessen pain and listened. Positive experience – I hope to have her for my next visit. She also explained the yellowness near my gum line was receding and explained that showed the root exposure beginning. I thought I wasn’t brushing well enough. She advised how to best maintain and not make it worse, and mentioned brushing certain ways might be causing the problem and showed how to do it. Nicole was great and explained the cavity filling I had as a kid was showing signs of wear and she’d recommend replacing. She didn’t say all of them were bad but showed on screen where it was going bad.
This was my second visit at Artisan Dental. Usually I am not excited to ask for an inspection, but they are doing such a great job. “I was originally scheduled for a cleaning, but also needed a filling. They graciously extended my appointment to include the cleaning and filling in one trip. Once I was in the seat, they found another little cavity that needed addressing and tackled it without batting an eye. What could have been three separate appointments, turned into one appointment that lasted less than 90 minutes. And the people are amazingly kind, patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and a treat to interact with during what most people would consider an uncomfortable experience. I was joking that the appointment was the highlight of my day, which might be a reflection of what I had planned for the rest of the day. Never in my life would I expect to leave the dentist and think, “I love this place!” But that’s exactly what happened when I left Artisan Dental yesterday. The office is great–the waiting room feels like I’m lounging in someone’s living room (in a good way). The dental offices are spacious and gorgeous with great views (doesn’t totally matter when it comes to the dentist, but it’s a great perk!) The staff is incredibly kind, friendly, informative, and fun! I left with the plan for cavities to be filled, so you’d think I’d be grumpy, but instead I left with a plan to make sure my teeth are in tip-top shape moving forward. They explain everything they are doing and how they reached the conclusion you have cavities. They show you photos of your teeth, x-rays, etc. to make sure you are informed. Weirdest statement I’ve ever made, but I can’t wait to go back to the dentist!

This was my first appointment with Artisan Dental and my 3 year old’s first ever dental exam and cleaning. The staff, hygienists and doctors were very friendly and professional and were extremely detailed during the exam and cleaning and for mapping out a plan for future maintenance. I had my 6 month cleaning with Kayla. She did an excellent job, making sure she checked an area I’m concerned about. She brought Dr. Anderson in to get her opinion on what to do. They gave me choices, and I made a decision to have it looked at by an Oral Surgeon. The receptionists kindly made the call to make that appt. The staff are very good at their jobs, helpful, kind, professional, and have a sense of humor!!! I highly recommend them!!!!

The appointment started promptly at the scheduled time and everyone was extremely friendly. To top it off I was surprised with a gift card for a friend that listed me as their referrer.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and professional. My hygienist, Lindsay, was super sweet, gentle, smart, and thorough. I find that the quality of your hygienist really makes or breaks the experience, and Lindsay is truly top notch. The office space is very clean and modern, which is always a comfort in any kind of medical space. Even the cleaning chair was comfortable! Hands down my favorite dentist practice ever. This place has the details down. They have a beautiful building, the most interesting coffee tables books, calming music while you get your teeth done and give you sunglasses to shield your eyes from the light. Everyone is consistently friendly and eager to help. I had a large amount of dental work performed this past week and Dr. Merick and Jonlyn were fantastic. Dr. Merick again reviewed the several teeth I needed work on and she made sure I understood my options. She has a great attention to detail and I’m super happy with the results.

The hygienist told me everything she was doing before she did it and why and answered all of my questions. I learned more about my mouth than ever before. I haven’t been to a dentist for awhile, so I’m not necessarily up to date on the industry standards, but everything seemed very cutting edge and high quality. The people who worked on my teeth, and those at the reception desk were both very friendly and helpful.

Artisan Dental makes going to the dentist much, more pleasant than one might imagine, especially for a bi-annual cleaning and check-up.

This was my first visit as I was looking for a dentist closer to my new home. The office setting is very inviting, ample waiting area with I-Pads, although I didn’t use one. It is in a new apartment building so all of the exterior and interior are new. The reception was quick as I got an email and was able to provide the bulk of my insurance and health history in advance. I was escorted back to the dental room by the hygienist. She did a number of x-rays then off to the cleaning. She used something new to me, a water-pick tool that cleaned teeth. Seems to have done the trick. The staff and dentist were all very friendly and more importantly very informative and professional. It was apparent that Tia, the hygienist had a passion for her career and she was very thorough and helped me understand what she was doing every step of the way. They had very cutting edge technology that displayed the x-rays and pictures on a flat-screen TV so you could see exactly what they saw and were concerned about. I’ve been to four dental practices in the past 20 years and this is by far the best experience I’ve had.
I had a dental problem that needed to be looked at, and they got me in that day!!!! Everyone was soooo kind and caring. Thank you sooo much!!!!!

I was recommended to this group by a close acquaintance, and I am very glad they sent me this way. I worked with Dr. Tressler and Sami, and this was far and away the best experience I have had to date with a dentist. Everyone here, from reception to hygienists, to doctors, to check out are friendly, communicative, and efficient people. In the space of about 3 weeks I had my first cleaning, and 5 fillings repaired, across a total of 3 visits. Their first priority was my safety, health, and comfort. Sami and Dr. Tressler communicated what was going on every step of the way, made sure I was not in any pain, and were fun to talk with as well!
I cannot recommend Artisan Dental enough. These folks are real pros, and make visits to the dentist SO much easier.

I had an appointment with Megan and felt at total ease. My anxiety level at the dentist tends to rise. Megan put me at ease with a good conversation and customer service. All employees I have seen and have waited or served me or examined my mouth and diagnosed me are above board for a Dental Facility. This is the first time in my life of 68 years that I delay appointments or avoid even scheduling them. The Artisan staff is to be commended for their attitude, courtesy and skills.
I really like the office. It’s clean, nice and has a great view. It was my first time there. I had my teeth cleaned and examined. People there are really nice and friendly, especially Megan, she made me feel really comfortable and at ease. And she did a great job cleaning up my teeth!

I am not one who enjoys anything about the dentist, which unfortunately makes me procrastinate making appointments every six months. And due to changes in my insurance multiple times over the last few years, I have had experiences with some less than friendly and accommodating dentists and staff. I read nothing but excellent reviews about Artisan Dental and was very happy to see they accept my current insurance plan. I felt immediately at ease the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted by friendly staff and serene music. The hygienist was thoughtful and informative, as was the dentist. I honestly cannot say anything negative about my experience, and have already recommended Artisan to several of my co-workers. I left with an all around positive feeling, and was not dreading returning in 6 months. Thank you!! I am so glad I made the call!

Artisan was recommended to me by a friend and my son. After 20 years and an unfortunate extraction experience with a local dentist, I needed a place to undo the ‘dentist anxiety’ that was a result of the experience. When I arrived for my first appointment, it was discovered that the appointment hadn’t been recorded in Artisan’s system. However, Artisan reassured me that I would see the dentist that day, I would not need to reschedule (who goes to the dentist on a day they don’t have an appointment!). I immediately felt ‘at home’ with the staff who were friendly, apologetic, and accommodating. An added bonus – free mental/physical health events! Truly a place where the ‘whole’ person is valued! I need to have a few more appointments to fully recommend, but if my first was any indication – I’ll be here for the next 20 years…

Rochelle takes the time to explore and explain all the options available to you (custom dental plan). All of the staff at Artisan Dental are amazing! Their personable, offer professional level care, and have all the latest technology and equipment. The facility itself is very nicely decorated, and the inviting atmosphere is also welcoming to children with iPads available in the waiting area.

I’ve only been to Artisan twice and I love it already. Beautiful place and their waiting area is very calming, natural sunlight comes through, great selections of books for you to read too. They’re very informational, they always ask if I have any questions which I usually don’t because they’ve already answered it for me and If I do, they have the answers for me. The first time I was there, I didn’t feel judged because it beens YEARS since I’ve seen a dentist. They were confident on how to get my teeth and gums looking better than it does now(and they’re not so good at the moment). Second visit was for deep cleaning and I was a bit afriad of pain but she assured me that the numbing won’t make me feel a thing(which is true). Told me the process and every step she was going to take as in the numbing(telling me I will feel a pinch) and the going in(deep cleaning). I look forward to more dental visits! Not only is the office beautiful, the staff super friendly and Dr Anderson amazing…Artisan Dental works hard to stay within insurance parameters, which is always a big help. I have taken the kids to pediatric dentists in the past that would perform services but not let me know ahead of time that I would be paying out of pocket for that extra fluoride treatment or X-rays. His office always knows what my insurance will pay for and what they won’t, and they always take the time to have a conversation with me about what the visit will entail. My husband and I are so happy we have the kids going here as well as us – you don’t need a gimmicky peds dentist for kids and a separate one for adults when you have a dentist like ours.”
