Let me start by saying a visit at this office (with Dr. Kazil and her staff) will be one of the best experiences you can have. I took my 90 year old dad to see Dr. Kazil. Although, they were a little behind (completely understandable at a Dr.’s office), Dr. Kazil did not rush my dad’s appointment. She is thorough, knowledgeable, patient, responsive and her caring disposition comes through in her words and her actions. Evan checked us in and he can be the C.E.O. of The Customer Service Experience (he is awesome). Last night, my dad received a visit from Peter (I believe). My dad dropped his wallet at some time during the visit. Peter on behalf of Dr.Kazil, brought my dad’s wallet to his home. My family is appreciative, speechless and grateful. If I have the names of Evan and Peter incorrect, please give our “thanks” to all involved.

I can make this short and sweet! Because of Dr. Kazil I have my wife ! Plane and simple you saved her life. She is too the point in a respectful manner, which is what you need in a crisis. Make no mistake she is the best. I can not thank her enough for giving my wife back to us. I think she has a direct line to the big guy up there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I met Dr Kazil after being admitted to South Bay Hospital through the ER for gallbladder surgery. I don’t know why or how I ended up with Dr Kazil but I’m sure glad I did. Due to the infection of the area the surgery had to be “open” and was not routine my any means. Here is my review of my experience with Dr Kazil; professional, very knowledgeable & caring with a touch of humor worked well with the team of doctors involved with my diagnosis & amp; care instills confidence follow-ups in her office went smoothly friendly, most importantly, a hell of a good surgeon.

I was rushed to the hospital unconscious with a ruptured bowel. I was blessed that Dr. Kazil was on duty. She was honest with my husband and told him I had minutes and was in critical condition, but she would do what she could. The surgery was successful as she had to remove a portion of my colon. Through it all she and her staff have been professional, kind, and compassionate. I would heartily recommend Dr. Kazil. Her care and compassion was exceptional. Thank you Dr. Kazil and staff for everything.

I located Dr Kazil after some research on the internet. After talking to her very professional and courteous office staff, I made an appointment to see Dr Kazil about surgery for an inguinal hernia. The surgery was promptly scheduled and completed without any complications. Recovery was as Dr Kazil described. I would highly recommend her as a surgeon.

I needed a Cholecystectomy (gall bladder surgery) and was in pain for several months. Went to see 3 or 4 other surgeons before finding Dr. Kazil. Never really felt comfortable with the others plus was worried about Covid and so kept putting it off. Dr. Kazil was not like the others. From the moment I walked in her office, I felt something different. I was immediately welcomed by her friendly staff and every time I either spoke to anyone via phone or in person, it was always in a most professional and courteous way. Dr. Kazil was so kind and took time to explain the surgery in great detail. She also calmed my Covid fears. I finally felt comfortable and felt like I was in good hands. Dr. Kazil’s knowledge is amazing and her bedside manner even more amazing. You don’t feel like you’re just a number with Dr. Kazil and her staff. They’re very caring, accommodating and professional. I would recommend Dr. Kazil to anyone considering surgery. Thank you a thousand times over.

Dr. Kazil is an amazing, dedicated, caring person who puts her patients 100% first. She is willing to patiently listen and answer questions in a gentle, understanding manner. From being warmly greeted by her front office staff, Lauren and Achyut, to her kind and patient assistant, Elizabeth… you realize this practice is different. It’s professional yet very personal. My gallbladder surgery went perfectly… from our very first meeting to the final follow-up appointment. Willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get the best care possible, I totally trusted her decisions and would put my life in her very capable hands again! (I LOVE this doctor!!!) If you want the BEST DOCTOR EVER… Dr. Jenna Kazil is the Vascular Surgery Physician for you!

I asked to write a review simply because Dr Jenna Kazil has far surpassed any Dr I have ever been to. She basically saved my life, with a bowel obstruction, with her surgical skills. Beyond that she always explains things patiently and answers every question. She is compassionate as well as a highly skilled surgeon. I’m so glad to be her patient!

At 59 years old I was told my right Carotid was almost 100% blocked & that the left also had blockage. My Primary Doctor told me to find a Vascular Surgeon for a second opinion.
I found Dr. Jenna Kazil at Florida Surgical Clinic! My experience with Dr. Kazil was Amazing! From her office staff & scheduling staff , all were fantastic people, very friendly and very professional. Dr. Kazil was matter of fact and to the point as to her plan of action for me. I knew from our conversations she was 100% committed to getting me healthy and knew exactly what she needed to do.
My Carotid endarterectomy surgery was scheduled within days of seeing Dr. Kazil. My incision was minimal and has healed amazingly fast. I will be following up with Dr.Kazil to have the left Carotid unblocked, as soon as the hospitals reopen for surgery.
I would Highly recommend Dr. Jenna Kazil and Florida Surgical Clinic

Dr. Kazil saw my brother for possible surgery due to years of Type 1 Diabetes. I was driving up to see him, when she called me. Since I was enroute, she suggested I stop by her office to discuss his case in detail. She had a full schedule yet made time to see me, and did not “rush” thru our meeting.
She was concerned with Paul’s overall health; he truly was not a good candidate for surgery. She asked if anyone had suggested hospice. No, but we were receptive. She texted his dr to put in a hospice consult. He was admitted to hospice care. While in hospice awaiting a nursing home bed, he declined VERY quickly and passed.
If not for Dr Kazil’s compassion and honesty, he would have died alone, in a hospital bed…if he lived thru surgery. She could have done the surgery and taken the money. Her dedication to doing what’s best for the INDIVIDUAL gave us time to spend with my brother. Time to say I love you…time to say goodbye.
Thank you, Dr. Kazil. God bless you!

I’m very satisfied with my treatment. I went to Dr Kazil with painful and unsightly leg veins. We talked about Sclerotherapy as being a solution and after reviewing the materials, I scheduled the appointments. After my treatments, I noticed that my ongoing leg pain was gone and that after a few weeks, the purple-black blotches and leg veins were clearing up as well. Now I’m able to go to the gym without the leg pain bothering me and I can wear shorts without worrying about the appearance of my legs.

    Wonderful.
I could put “very” in front of everything. Very professional. Very caring. Very thorough. Very knowledgeable. Very kind. Dr. Kazil went above and beyond in my treatment. She was proactive and ruled out other possible reasons for my extensive blood clots by sending me to other appropriate physicians. I could rely on her to manage my case when I received the results. She took the time to discuss my condition AND in a kind and caring manor. Dr. Kazil is everything we would want a physician to be.

I am 71 yers old and I had a lipoma for years that I never did anything about because I was fearful of surgery. I found Dr. Kazil on the internet and made an appointment with her. Dr. Kazil was very kind, understanding, professional and supportive. The surgery was painless the only post-surgery effect was being a little sore and having a little itching where the incision was made. Dr. Kazil used glue over the incision (no staples or sutures!) that wore off in a few weeks. If you are holding back getting the medical attention that you need because you are fearful of surgery or pain, I highly recommend considering seeing Dr. Kazil in her Bradenton or Sun City office.

In 2019, when I was referred to Dr. Kazil after an abnormal mammogram, I saw Dr. Kazil for a breast biopsy, lumpectomy, and finally, a mastectomy.
In my opinion, Dr. Kazil is an outstanding surgeon, who is straightforward, honest and compassionate. Not only is Dr. Kazil extremely knowledgeable, but her manner is good natured, and she presents with a down-to-earth common-sense approach. I found this combination of skill and kindness extremely reassuring.
Throughout this breast cancer experience, I feel that Dr. Kazil did everything she could make sure that I had the most comfortable and effective treatment possible. Not only did she fully and patiently discuss my treatment options, but she presented information about my surgeries in a way that I could understand. At all times, Dr. Kazil conveyed respect and was open to my questions and input as an active participant in my treatment. She supported my decisions about the options that she presented, and she made every effort to refer me to the best available resources. A real bonus was that Dr. Kazil also communicated promptly to messages and questions that I left on her patient portal.
The following are some of the comments I made to Dr. Kazil in person and via the patient portal:
    After the lumpectomy:
“The lumpectomy incision is a work of art! You should take pictures of your work!”
(On the day of surgery) “Dr. Kazil: Thank you for a GREAT JOB today! Amazed how small and neat incision looks. Pain after was minimal and relieved entirely by Advil and ice.”

    After the mastectomy:
(On the day of surgery) “Dr Kazil: Thank you!!! You scored another home run. I have not seen your artistic repair yet. But so far, an excellent experience. The anesthesia was just right and I gave been awake and feeling coherent all afternoon. This hospital is marvelous mainly because of the people, who are warm and attentive promptly providing all that is needed. I am in NO pain for hours now .Was up and about and exercised. Is it possible to have a fun experience getting mastectomy? Sounds crazy but it’s been a very pleasant and relaxing afternoon. ”

“Dr Kazil: You are not only stellar at surgery, but your kind, compassionate and honest approach has given me a sense of security going through this cancer experience. I feel you have my back. Thank you.”

My husband was admitted to the hospital with serious gallbladder issues. After going from one doctor to the other we were recommended Dr Kazil. First time we talked to her we knew she was the one we could trust. She explains, answers your questions in such an easy way that you have no doubts. The surgery was more complicated only because his gallbladder was in a very bad shape but with Dr Kazil hands everything went well. After the surgery she keeps following the patient until everything is good to go. She is not only a smart and good doctor but also a concerned one. I absolutely recommend Dr Kazil without a doubt.

My experience with Dr. Kazil was great! I am a 22 year old female who needed a shoulder lipoma removed. Dr. Kazil arranged for my surgery about a week after the consultation and assured me that it was a simple procedure while still letting me know of the risks. Before the surgery, I requested that Dr. Kazil take a picture of the mass on the removal day and she did! Weird request, but that just goes to show how great she is! I would highly recommend her as your future doctor/surgeon!

I was taken to the ER at Blake Medical Center due to chest pains in the early morning hours (Feb 2nd). After an ultrasound showed gallstones, I was told I could be admitted and see the surgeon or go home. I opted to see the surgeon because my pain was horrible and this was the second time this happened in 6 months. Dr. Kazil and her NP Anatasia came into my room to explain in detail about gallbladder removal surgery. She believed it was my gallbladder and I would have immediate relief if this was the cause of pain. I signed off on paperwork and opted for surgery. She told me I would be her next case in about two hours. When I was taken to surgery, all of the staff were great and explained what was going. When I woke up, the pain was all gone in my chest. I was taken to my room and stayed overnight. I had some slight pain due to discomfort (gassy and bloating) after surgery. I only took a few pain meds. I was seen by Anatasia and Dr. Kazil the day following surgery and both said I should stay an additional day to get some rest and get my labs down (WBC and Pancreas) which she believed were up due to just having surgery. I rested that day and walked around the nurses station to get my bowels moving and they said it was best to get up and start moving. Anatasia was in bright and early and told me I could leave and Dr. Kazil was in shortly as well. I had to wait for a primary doctor to release me. Dr. Kazil had said I would have some discomfort for about two weeks. I was surprised how fast the bloating and discomfort went away. The second day was the hardest. I never knew how much your shoulders hurt after this surgery from the air they put into your stomach. I still notice some bloating but that is due to the bile and no longer having a gallbladder. I had my follow-up with Dr. Kazil today and everything went great! It was just two weeks this past Saturday and two of the incisions you can’t even see. Her staff is on-top of everything and she answers every question you have, as well as, Anatasia. The only problem I had was the hospital not giving me my daily meds, which Dr. Kazil took care of that right away. I’m thankful she was my surgeon for the emergency surgery I had. Sometimes you don’t know what you’re getting into and I’ve had some not so great experiences before but she was amazing! She is so intelligent and listens to everything you have to say. If you have a choice with a general surgeon, choose Kazil and hopefully if you need emergency surgery she will be on call!

I sought out Dr. Kazil after having suffered with a growth on my leg for 3 years. It was removed by a different surgeon 3 years ago and a sensory nerve was damaged, effectively leaving me with no feeling in my lower leg or foot. The growth returned and became quite painful. She was careful and methodical in her testing, making sure she did not do surgery that would result in additional lasting negative results. Dr. Kazil spent extra time during the surgery, not only removing the growth and scar tissue, but in correcting what nerve damage she could from the previous surgery. The growth is gone, the scar looks much better, and most importantly, I no longer have the shooting nerve pain I had after the previous surgery. I would recommend her highly.

Dr. Kazil is an incredibly thorough, personable and skilled surgeon. If you are nervous about meeting a new doctor, look no further! I’ve had terrible experiences with surgeons in the past, either shying away from my complex health or delivering a shockingly unpleasant bedside manner. Dr. Kazil made me feel 100% at ease within the first few minutes of meeting her, and she embraced the complexities of my medical history. She involves me in my care and values my input while simultaneously delivering the best course of action. She always explains the details of any procedure, no matter how minor or major, until I am comfortable and in full understanding. I hope Dr. Kazil stays in practice for a long time as she and her entire staff are an absolute pleasure! I fully entrust them with my health care.

Dr. Kazil performed a cholecystectomy on me. Her office was great to work with. They were able to get me in right away and I had my surgery the same week. Dr. Kazil was very easy to talk to and really cared about how I was feeling. She answered my call at 9pm the night I had surgery because I was concerned and even called to check up on me after that even though she has infant twins. It is obvious that Dr. Kazil cares deeply for her patients and that she has a gift. I was told by other patients in the waiting room that they wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for Dr. Kazil and I believe she makes every patient feel as though they are her only patient. It is also great that I have never had a long wait at the office. They are good at getting you in at your appointment time. I wanted to take a moment and share with you the outstanding care I received from Dr Jenna Kazil in one of my worst times of need.
She took the time to listen to me, to understand my needs and concerns and come up with the best solution for me. She is not like other surgeons who try to get you in and out of the door, she listens. It is obvious that she realizes what may work for others, may not work for you.
Her bedside manner is caring and she is concern with the outcome of any procedure she may or may not be of service to you with. In my case, initially, she did not think that I would need surgery, she was looking for what was best for me. After caring for me for a period of time, it became obvious that I would need surgery and to date it has been very successful.
My prayer is that I will not need surgery again, but if I do, I will contact her again. I would highly recommend her to you if you ever need surgery.

Our government mandates the computers but I can truly say Dr Kazil can multitask well. She NEVER made me feel she wasn’t listening. She explained everything and after my surgery she and her staff stayed in touch to make sure I was comfortable. Her technical skills were perfect. Meeting with Dr. Kazil was way beyond a typical experience. She was very attentive to solving my health issues . I experienced someone who really truly cared about my well being and getting me to the people that could help me. She even called my back Dr. while I was in her office to go over a game plan. I really felt cared about and not just a stranger to her office. If all doctors were like her… this world would be a much better place. Thank you Jenna for caring….it was a blessing.

On May 15, 2017 I was diagnosed via an ultrasound with a 7.3CM aortic aneurysm. My initial reaction was panic. I was fortunate to have had an appointment scheduled for me by my primary care physician with Dr. Kazil on the following day, May 16.
During the initial meeting with Dr. Kazil, she was very patient with me and while acknowledging the seriousness of my condition, outlined for me the pros and cons of my condition from a surgical standpoint, maintaining throughout our discussion that she was quite confident she would be able to repair the aneurysm by inserting a stent through my groin instead of a more invasive open chest procedure. In order to further confirm her plan of action for me, she requested a cardiac evaluation to ensure that she would be able to proceed on her preferred course of treatment.
Considering this was a first visit, Dr. Kazil gave me a feeling of confidence going forward with her recommended treatment and by the time our visit was concluded, her office had contacted my primary care physician to schedule the cardiac evaluation and scheduled the stent procedure at Blake Medical Center for May 31. Very efficient and a great “bedside” demeanor from Dr. Kazil. This was not a 10-15 minute in and out visit to keep on her appointed schedule. Dr. Kazil spent as much time with me as was necessary to outline the issues, answer my questions satisfactorily and confidently propose the medical solution to my problem.
Procedure was performed on May 31 at Blake. Everything went as planned and after an evening at Blake Medical Center I was discharged on June 1. Had my follow up with Dr. Kazil on June 13 during which she examined the incision area, and prescribed further tests and exams to ensure that the stent is holding in place. No restrictions and I’m good to go! Many thanks to Dr. Kazil and her staff for exemplary care in treating my aneurysm.

Dr. Jenna Kazil and Peter (her office manager) at Florida Surgical Clinic were great. I was in a lot of pain and Dr. Kazil saw me right away and did my surgery the same day. Her skills and know-how are amazing. If I ever need surgery again I would definitely want Dr. Kazil to perform it and would definitely recommend her for anyone in need of a great surgeon – she’s the best!

I went in this year for an appendectomy and had Dr. Kazil perform surgery. She did a wonderful job at making me feel comfortable and understand what was going to happen. I was very pleased as well with my small incision’s and how quick my surgery was over. I believe because of her I felt much better and had a fast recovery! If I need any more surgery in the future I will definitely be calling Dr. Kazil again!

Consideration, compassion, patience and helpfulness are the virtues I experienced today. Even though I couldn’t be treated at Florida Surgical Clinic, Peter Kazil went above and beyond to help me find financial aide, once he learned I had no insurance, and also referred an Orthopedic Specialist as well. It’s nice to know that such virtues still exist in this day and age, when greed rules over common decency.

My husband was referred to Dr. Kazil by his cardiologist, as he has multiple severe vascular issues. We had never met Dr. Kazil, but I work at Blake Medical Center, where Dr. Kazil enjoys a stellar reputation among her colleagues. That put me at ease right away.
At our first visit, it was obvious that she researched my husband’s records and was familiar with his history and medical issues, which I appreciated greatly. When we were in the exam room, she made my husband feel like he was the only patient she had that day, although the waiting room was full. She took time to examine him, present all the options and give her opinion of best outcome.
We decided to go ahead with the most severe problem that needed vascular surgery, and Dr. Kazil operated on him. The operation was a success, and he is now feeling much better. He had to stay in the hospital overnight, and Dr. Kazil checked in with the nursing station at least twice that I know of. She is an excellent technician, and the surgery went very well. It was clear how very concerned she was about my husband’s health and welfare.
I am convinced that Dr. Kazil is committed to her patients 100% and wants only the best outcome possible. My husband may or may not face more vascular surgery, but if he does, we will seek her advice and with full confidence, go ahead with whatever she recommends.
My husband has had many medical issues, and I have been in healthcare for over 25 years, and Dr. Kazil is one of the most caring, down-to-earth and proficient doctors we have met. Thank you so much, Dr. Kazil!

A sudden unexpected rupture of a post cardiac catheterization femoral pseudo aneurysm brought Dr. Kazil to me. Vascular surgeons are hard to find especially on a weekend. As you can imagine this potential life threatening occurrence was emergent and needed immediate intervention. As an R.N., I am probably more conscious of the expertise of the in the medical field. She came to me kind, confident, compassionate in only a way few could. She is to me a “Rock Star” and a great doctor.

Dr Kazil was on call the night I needed emergency surgery for a burst appendix. Her bed side manner and education on my issue instilled a level of confidence in what was about to happen. Not only did my surgery go well, but the follow up appointments at the Florida Surgical Clinic in Bradenton FL also went well. They took me on time and answered all my questions about the recovery process

Doctor was able to look at my case and educate me on what is recommended. It’s hard to find someone that I can trust, all staff members were able to do so. All while making me feel comfortable during my appointment. Would recommend to my family and friends!
