My husband and I have been going to Dr Hoang for about 10 years. He listens and him and his staff are great.
While out of town traveling, a piece from my recent dental implant surgery fell out. After several calls to local dentists in the area that accept my insurance, I was able to get ahold of Nancy who made an appointment for me with Dr. Hoang within the hour! Everyone was so friendly and they were able to reinstall the piece within minutes! So grateful for you guys saving the day for me! Thanks again!
It was my first time today at Dr. Hoang’s dental office and my experience was spectacular! I’ve gone to many dental offices before and while they’ve all been pretty upscale, none of them have ever had the kind of technology that I’ve seen at Dr. Hoang’s office. I’m very tech savvy and work in the medical field so I would say that I know what I’m talking about when I say that he has some amazing imaging there. However, having better machines for easier diagnosis and to accurately plan out procedures isn’t everything and I was still pretty critical in mindset observing the rest of the workers and their experience there. They were actually all very friendly and knowledgeable with the expected level of their education.
It’s funny to note this but I think it’s something worth mentioning, when the dental assistant sat me down on the chair she did a great job adjusting the neck support. In my past experiences going to the dentist, some people have no clue what they’re doing and they’ll put you in a position that hyperextends or hyperflexes your C-spine so that you end up choking on your own throat muscles. Fortunately, this wasn’t what happened and it was nice that the default test position that the dental assistant put me in was close enough to perfect that I didn’t feel that initial discomfort of having my airway strangled. We had some great communication and she helped adjust me to the right position. That leather on the chair was also pretty comfortable, I’ve had my fair share of some ghetto feeling chairs at some places but the leather was nice and soft. Definitely a positive point that I like with my initial experience simply sitting on a chair.
When I met Dr. Hoang, he greeted me with a very friendly smile and proceeded to explain to me the anatomical findings on the x-ray as well as some interesting details amount clear maxillary sinuses and the inferior alveolar nerve branching from the mandibular n, and a nice view of the mental foramen, all stuff that I know but it was enough to assure me that he knows what he’s talking about. Unfortunately, I rarely share in depth anatomy or physiology details to patients in my line of work due to time constraints but I love having that assurance that Dr. Hoang is personable and cares enough to spend time sharing details like that to his patients without showing any sort of time pressure to me. The dental assistant finished the rest of the work on me and she was very great in communication, constantly asking me about whether I was feeling any pain or discomfort which showed me that she was competent and cognizant of what she was doing. She was actually also very personable and conversational with me.
After they were done, Dr. Hoang gave me some great recommendations on lifestyle modifications to improve my teeth, some stuff I knew about already but other stuff I honestly never thought about even though I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about taking care of my teeth. Overall, a great experience with someone skilled and knowledgeable, I would definitely come here again!
Absolutely loved Dr. Hoang and his staff! When we walked in, the staff greeted us with big smiles. It was very welcoming. The office was very clean. Dr. Hoang worked very well and explained exactly what would be happening when my 13-year-old daughter went in. I would highly recommend this office!
Dr. Hoang and his entire staff were exceptional. It says a lot if my entire family drives down to San Clemente from northern orange county for the past 5+ years.
What amazes me is how well he remembers every little detail from our initial visit, not just my teeth issues but also my personal life. It says a lot that he s not just about his business but also about connecting with his patients.
The only thing I don’t like about Dr. Hoang was his love for the Baltimore Ravens. We disagree there. Saints are a better team. Other than that, he’s awesome.

I had an emergency toothache and luckily found Dr. Hoang’s office who was the only office that could take me right away. I was able to come in the same day I called and my problem was fixed with no more pain. Also got a call the next day from Dr. Hoang to check on my status. I never had a dentist do that before.
I have been going to Dr. Hoang for the past 16 years and can say nothing but amazing things about him and his wonderful staff! I have Dr. Hoang to thank for finally getting my impacted wisdom teeth out and always making me feel great when I’m in the dreaded dentist chair! Thank you so much for the great service over the years. If you are new to town and looking for a fun and honest dentist, this is the place to be 🙂
No problem providing constructive criticism because there is none to provide. Once again I am a highly satisfied customer. Dr. Hoang has been our family dentist about 8 years and I can’t recall ever experiencing a problem that was not resolved to my high satisfaction. I had a wisdom tooth pulled and the procedures took less than 15 painless minutes. Four hours later and I am still pain-free. Thanks to the team at Radiant Smiles.
Doctor Hoang has been my dentist for a long time I have recommended him many times the staff is pleasant and very helpful I leave the office feeling like they all care about my visit thank you to all.
Dr. Hoang and his staff were so welcoming and friendly. We had a lot of work to do and it seemed to all go smoothly and quickly. He took the time to explain all the procedures and any follow-up. It’s not so bad to go to the dentist here.
